I haven't spent a lot of time playing so I really haven't commented on all aspects of the game such as self healing, etc. Perhaps it was the delay before info above their head turned up red information or it was something else I didn't take note to. One thing I did note is that for whatever reason I found it a tad difficult to disquisition friend or foe. And at times would have to either go were you think people maybe or wait for someone to show up. I really didn't get any sense of direction of were to go mid game if you are defending flags.

Everyone seem to scatter off in their own direction with no sense of team play. I didn't get any real sense of urgency to reclaim flag points. The game didn't have much replay value for me. I can only hope they allow for at least 30 player servers if and when they release this on the PC. This map is larger then COD:WAW and COD4 maps and using a vehicle to get around is a must. IMO, player count is way to small for this map. I can only assume that those aspects of game play will transfer over to the PC version.

Movement in the game was good and hit registration was ok. Maybe it was because others were also new to the game as well, time will tell if that trend continues. I was able to completely dominate with a tank on that map. Tanks on the ground were over powered if there was no air support or tanks on the other team. It put me in the mind of COD series were everyone has juggernaut. Another example is the high amount of gun fire it takes to take out combatants in the game. It would take 2 shots to take out infantry and 1 shot to take out other objects like towers, jeeps, etc. For example, I didn't notice any splash damage when firing from the tank. How the game plays is a bit watered down for my taste. I am sure this will be sorted out on the PC version and provide a much more intuitive control scheme. For example when using the tank you use the left trigger to go forward and the left bumper to move backwards.

1943 isn't the 1st, first person shooter I've played but controls were a bit awkward. Builds, fences, etc are destructible and you can run over them with the tank. The environment was destructible and the physics were good enough to make for good game play. I didn't notice any jaggies and the overall view of the players and map itself is top notch IQ wise.

It is an amazing looking game even for the console. I've played this game on the console and here is my impression.
